ALEC EDWARD HERBERT Died peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Monday, May 21, 2001 at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Vi and leaves to mourn his passing his son Jack, daughter Pat, grandson Jeffrey, sister Shirley, and many relatives and friends in Canada and the U.K. Alec spent many years in hotel and club management. He managed the Manitoba Club, The Winnipeg Winter Club and the Tuxedo Inn. His later career until retirement was in the real estate business. Alec was a devoted husband, a loving and generous father and a wonderful grandfather to his beloved grandson Jeffrey. His loving nature and wry sense of humour will be missed. Cremation has already taken place and at Alecs request there will be no service. Flowers gratefully declined.
